Our mission is to educate the customer's; then to assist them in keeping their vehicles operating at peak performance. Today's high performance engines and fuel injection systems require basic maintenance at regular intervals; as indicated by the vehicles "owners manual". Not everyone has the time to read their owners manual from cover to cover.
Our computer system contains all the information for service intervals for most makes and models of cars and trucks. Our knowledgeable staff are trained to identify the services due based on the mileage of the vehicle and observation. We then inform the customer of what service is due; and how that service would benefit the life and performance of their engine.
A dirty air filter reduces gas mileage on a vehicle. In addition if the fuel injection system is not getting enough air due to a dirty air filter, a richer fuel mixture (mostly gas burning in the cyclinder) will cause carbon to build up faster on the fuel injection ports and inside the cyclinder itself. That carbon build up has several potentially harmful effects inside the engine; our staff would be more than happy to explain. Fuel injection system cleaning is recommended every 15,000-20,000 miles or at least once a year. Stop by and ask for a fuel injection system cleaning, mention this blog, and we will take $5.00 off the cost of the service.
